NOTE: Sunday’s start time will be 8:30AM, a little earlier. We had a great turnout for our weekend rides. Check out part of the crew here at La Bonne Bouche Bistro in Lake Worth. Calling out all our “B” riders. We have team captains to lead two levels for this weekend. (Saturday will still be a 7:30am start). Ride start: Hillsboro & A1A on the ocean side near Subway parking lot. Recommended to park your car near the Cove over the bridge and ride to our start. Our Sunday stop will be again at La Bonne Bouche, so go left over the bridge in Lake Worth and past the first light. Homemade pastries!
Reminder that our club rides are still at 7am from Hillsboro and A1A for the weekend rides. And take many photos for our clubmates who can’t be here, so we can make sure to get them back out on the road.
It’s getting cold, reminder that we have limited supply of Garneau Florida long sleeve winter jerseys for $65 and serious winter jackets for $110. Stay warm or just hug a teammate.
Due to several requests, the registration to the first edition of the Gran Fondo Colnago Miami will be extended until midnight of Monday 14th. OK – Joel, Jackie, Andy, Rose, Ann, Lori and Lisette are officially registered for the Fondo. First time to Miami and ready to try out a new event, Sunday November 20th. (Yes, same weekend as Horrible 100 – Matt, Oliver & Ken are headed to Clermont, ouch).
Just wanted to thank everyone who came out to the club social to visit with Louis and our new cycling Canadians at Deck84 in Delray on the water. I hope that everyone had a good time. It was also a good recruiting event to welcome new members Lori, Lisette and Ann to the club. And to Rainier who was a true warrior to show up after getting tangled in a crash earlier that morning. We barely noticed the arm sling. Heal up!
